Filter Builder is the most flexible and powerful data filtering tool provided by PHP Generator. It allows your end-users to build complex filter criteria with an unlimited number of filter conditions combined by logical operators. To open the Filter Builder dialog, click the button in the data grid's toolbar.

New features added to Filter Builder in the version 16.9 are as follows:

• Support for the IN operator;
• The possibility of disabling/enabling certain filter conditions and/or groups;
• Support for the Begins with/Ends with/Contains and similar operators for lookup columns;
• The possibility of selecting operators displayed for a certain column;
• The possibility of specifing the initial filter condition with the OnPrepareFilterBuilder event (click the button to see the code used in the example below).
